Over twenty years ago, Yellowtop Country Park began as an ambitious vision: ten holiday lodges nestled around a relaxing fishing lake, designed as a place for families and couples alike to find peace, joy and a connection to nature in the Yorkshire countryside. As time went on, our vision grew, and with the addition of ‘ another ten lodges in York, Yellowtop became a UK retreat center where families come together for family lodge holidays, couples find romance, and guests of all ages discover the pleasures of lakeside relaxation and fishing in a calm, natural setting. Your furry best friends are also very welcome.

Around five years after that, we introduced Still Rabbit Lodges – a secluded, intimate sanctuary featuring seven individually themed lodges. Designed specifically for couples going for romantic retreats in the UK, Still Rabbit offers adults a peaceful escape from the everyday. Here, guests can unwind in the luxury of super king beds, soak under the stars in private hot tubs, and truly lose themselves, surrounded by nature in the Yorkshire countryside.

Our latest addition, Yellowrush Lodge, stands as a symbol of community and gathering. This five bedroomed lodge caters to larger groups and special events, from family reunions to holistic and business retreats. With its expansive spaces, Yellowrush is a place to create unforgettable memories together, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

From the start, our goal has been to transform this 27 acre field into a haven where our guests can relax and reconnect. Over time, Yellowtop Country Park has also evolved into a small wildlife sanctuary, harmonising with the local environment and promoting sustainable tourism. On the outskirts of York at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, we are committed to fostering a place where guests can connect with nature and make memories that will last a lifetime.
